Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, about 90 km northwest of Nairobi. This day trip stops at the Rift Valley escarpment viewpoints, then explores Hell's Gate National Park, with its cliffs, gorges, Fischer's Tower and natural steam vents. After lunch you visit the lake, where an optional boat ride brings you close to hippos and birds such as fish eagles, pelicans and kingfishers, with Crescent Island's giraffes, zebras and wildebeest nearby. It is a relaxed escape from the city.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Morning pick-up from your hotel and briefing, then drive down to the floor of the Rift Valley with stops at escarpment viewpoints. Explore Hell's Gate, including Fischer's Tower, the Central Tower, the Njorowa Gorge and steam vents rising from the volcanic rock. After lunch, visit Lake Naivasha, with an optional boat ride at extra cost. Drive back to Nairobi for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
