This four-day road safari from Mombasa links three of southern Kenya's best wildlife areas. Start in Tsavo East, the largest and oldest park in Kenya, with its open plains, Mudanda Rock, Yatta Plateau and Lugard Falls. Continue to Amboseli for large herds of free-ranging elephants and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, then finish at the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary with a night at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, famous for wildlife viewing at its waterhole. It is one of our most popular safaris from the coast.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Pick-up from your hotel and briefing, then drive to Tsavo East for views of Mudanda Rock, the Yatta Plateau and Lugard Falls, and wildlife including the Big Five, waterbuck, kudu, gerenuk and Hunter's hartebeest. Lunch at Ashnil Aruba Lodge, afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight (L, D).
Continue to Amboseli National Park, known for its large elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. Arrive for lunch, then an afternoon game drive among elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, hyenas and wildebeest. Dinner and overnight at your lodge (B, L, D).
After breakfast, game drive en route to Salt Lick Safari Lodge, one of Kenya's most photographed lodges, with lunch at its sister lodge, Taita Hills Safari Resort. Afternoon game drive, then dinner and overnight at Salt Lick (B, L, D).
An early-morning game drive, breakfast at the lodge and the drive back to Mombasa for drop-off at your hotel (B).
Accommodation: Ashnil Aruba Lodge, Tsavo East (1 night), Amboseli lodge (1 night) and Salt Lick Safari Lodge (1 night), or similar.

This safari runs year-round. The dry seasons (June to October and January to February) generally offer the easiest game viewing, while the green season brings lush scenery, newborn animals and fewer visitors.
Our prices are based on a private safari vehicle for your group, with your own driver-guide. Shared departures may be possible on request.
